Glossary of Terms

Assemblies
the putting together of complex machinery, as airplanes, from interchangeable parts of standard dimensions.
Bosuns Chair
A chair traditionally made from a plank and rope, used to hoist workers aloft to maintain the rigging.
CNC Milling
CNC is short for Computer Numerical Control -it refers to a computer "controller" that reads instructions and drives the machine tool. CNC's are able to perform precision cuts reliably in machine shop settings. Most machine shops would have CNC lathes, CNC routers, CNC milling machines, etc.
Concrete Repairs
Concrete is a composite material composed of coarse granular material (the aggregate or filler) embedded in a hard matrix of material (the cement or binder) that fills the space among the aggregate particles and glues them together.
Facade cladding
The facade of a building, especially a large one, is its front wall or the wall that faces the street. Cladding is a covering of tiles, wooden boards, or other material that is fixed to the outside of a building to protect it against bad weather or to make it look more attractive
General Structural Maintenance
The act of maintaining or the state of being maintained. The work of keeping something in proper condition; upkeep.
Inspection Services
An inspection is, most generally, an organized examination or formal evaluation exercise. In engineering activities inspection involves the measurements, tests, and gauges applied to certain characteristics in regard to an object or activity.

Maintenance
All actions which have the objective of retaining or restoring an item in or to a state in which it can perform its required function.
